A method for processing simplified homepage data in a proxy server, the proxy server thereof, the method for receiving the simplified homepage data in a mobile terminal by using the proxy server, and the mobile terminal thereof are provided to enable a user to easily/quickly access information for homepages included in a favorite list of a PC with the mobile terminal by downloading the favorite list and the simplified homepage data to the mobile terminal. A storing part(740) stores preset homepage address list information. A controller(750) determines whether homepage address information received from the mobile terminal is included in the homepage address list information stored in the storing part. In case that the homepage address information is included in the homepage address list information, the controller receives the simplified homepage data by transmitting a homepage data request message to the preset proxy server storing the simplified homepage data by parsing homepage data. The parsed homepage data is one of WML(Wireless Markup Language) or HTML(HyperText Markup Language) data. |
