A communication system for conducting a CID(Caller Identification) function by using plural telephone numbers is provided to allow a receiving terminal to simultaneously receive the first type originating number and the second type originating number included in a received setup message, thus a user can effectively recognize a caller. A wire/wireless communication MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(400) initiates a telephone call between an originating terminal(100) and a receiving terminal(110) by controlling a wire link and a wireless link as providing more than one telephone number to the receiving terminal(110), and switches voice packets. If an origination information request message is received from the MSC(400) by interworking with the MSC(400), an origination information server(500) extracts the second type originating number based on the first type originating number included in the origination information request message, and transmits an origination information service message which includes the extracted second type originating number and the first type originating number to the MSC(400).
