A method for servicing an intro message set by a receiving terminal is provided to allow a mobile communication terminal to change the set state of an RBT(Ring Back Tone) or an RBT replacement sound in real time according to user's biorhythm or mental state changes, as providing a new RBT replacement sound system such as the intro message. A call request signal to a destination telephone number inputted or selected by an originating terminal is generated(S401-S409). An MSC(Mobile Switching Center) transmits the call request signal to a receiving terminal, and delivers an RBT to the originating terminal(S411,S413). The receiving terminal which receives the call request signal generates an intro message consisting of sound sources on the basis of preset intro message setup information(S415). The MSC delivers the generated intro message to the originating terminal while delivery of the RBT is interrupted(S417,S419).
