SPUR REDUCTION METHOD WITH A PLURALITY OF LOCAL OSCILLATOR FREQUENCY AND TRANSCEIVER USING THE SPUR REDUCTION METHOD

A method for reducing spurs by using plural LO(Local Oscillator) frequencies and a transceiver using the method are provided to selectively use the plural LO frequencies so that an LO frequency(output frequency of a PLL(Phase Locked Loop)) is far away from harmonics of a predetermined reference clock frequency. So that spurs generated by a reference clock frequency of a PLL can be sufficiently suppressed by loop filtering of the PLL, the PLL selectively uses plural LO frequencies to make an LO frequency of the PLL far away from harmonics of the predetermined reference clock frequency. The plural LO frequencies are obtained through LOs which have wideband operating frequency domains.
