Reference frequency generation device and corresponding electronic circuit

The device has a bandgap type generator (11) delivering a reference voltage (V ref). A control unit (12) controls a reference frequency of the voltage and has a frequency- voltage conversion unit (15) converting the reference frequency into an image voltage (V im) and a comparator (13) comparing the image voltage to the reference voltage. The comparator delivers an output voltage that permits to control a voltage controlled oscillator (14) delivering a signal whose reference frequency (F ref) varies based on the output voltage. An independent claim is also included for an electronic circuit comprising a reference frequency generation device.
