A screw device, comprising a screw shaft (5) having a spiral ball rolling groove (6) formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof, a nut (1) having at least one winding groove (4) formed of a load ball rolling groove (2) of less than one round opposed to the ball rolling groove (6) and a ball circulating groove (3) connecting one end to the other end of the load ball rolling groove (2) formed in the inner peripheral surface thereof, and a plurality of balls storably disposed between the ball rolling groove (6) in the screw shaft (5) and the load ball rolling groove (2) and the ball circulating groove (3) in the nut (1). The load ball rolling groove (2) and the ball circulating groove (3) in the nut (1) are formed by cutting the inner peripheral surface of the pre-heat treated nut. The screw device thus formed can clearly define a position relation between the load ball rolling groove and the ball circulating groove formed in the nut. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007 |
