<p>The curved surface (14) of the rounder bar (11) contains a number of recesses (18) with a given diameter and depth. A machine for shaping pieces of dough (5) into round shapes comprises a support surface (21) for the dough, a rounder bar with a concave surface and a mechanism (2-4) for moving the bar relative to the support surface. The bar length axis (11) extends at an acute angle (alpha ) relative to the dough transport direction (6). The pieces of dough are kneaded and rounded as they pass beneath the bar. The curved surface of the bar contains a number of recesses having a diameter of 5-15 mm and depth of 3-8 mm.</p> |
