A varactor for a television tuner is provided to remarkably improve a resistance characteristic by preventing a partial region on a second conductive region from being covered with an insulation layer. An epitaxial layer(120) into which N- type impurities are implanted is formed by a predetermined thickness on a semiconductor substrate(110) into which N++ type impurities are implanted. A first conductive region(130) into which N+ type impurities are implanted is formed in a predetermined depth from the surface of the epitaxial layer. A second conductive region(140) into which P+ type impurities are implanted has a greater width than that of the first conductive region, including a smaller depth than that of the first conductive region from the surface of the epitaxial layer.
