A power transmitting device for a recovery box of a medium dispenser is provided to transfer abnormal media or non-taken media on a transfer path to the recovery box more exactly, by driving upper and lower shafts installed in the recovery box. In a medium dispenser having a recovery box(10) detachably installed at a body to recover media, a power transmitting device(20) includes a drive gear, which is rotated by a drive motor installed at the body and disposed in the body; lower and upper shafts(32,30) installed in the recovery box at predetermined intervals to transfer the media to the recovery box through between them and rotated by interlocking with each other; and a power transmitting unit for transmitting the power from the drive gear to the lower shaft. |
