<p>A method for providing a location-based reservation message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit a short message according to the location of a receiver, thereby extending functionality of the mobile terminal and providing different amusement to users of a mobile communication service. A method for providing a location-based reservation message in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: making a location reservation message, setting a receiving location of a receiver, and transmitting the location reservation message(S70~S74); transmitting the location reservation message to a mobile communication terminal of the receiver and storing the location reservation message in a memory in order to hide the location reservation message(S76,S82); making a mobile communication system periodically grasp the current location of the receiver and grasp whether the receiver reaches a reserved location(S78,S80); and notifying the receiver of the message, stored in the mobile communication terminal, as new message arrival when the receiver reaches the reserved location(S86).</p> |
