A method of drying the inside of a washing machine is provided to prevent the inside of the washing machine from getting moldy and to keep the inside clean by operating the drying process inside the washing machine according to the humidity and the temperature inside. A method of drying the inside of a washing machine comprises: a step(302,304) of measuring the humidity and the temperature in the fixed tub; a step(308) of feeding water with the fixed tub until a part of a spin basket is sunken; a step(310) of boiling water in the fixed tub and heating the inside of the fixed tub when the humidity is high and the temperature is low in the fixed tub; and step(318) of rotating the spin basket in the fixed tub and drying the inside of the fixed tub when the temperature in the fixed tub rises to the predetermined degree. The washing machine is not equipped with a drying unit for heating the air in the fixed tub.
