THE ISP'S INTERNET BASED MANAGED SECURITY SERVICE METHOD AND ITS PLATFORM

A network-based management type security service method of an Internet network provider and a platform thereof are provided to enable a security equipment or a security module to logically distinguish customers by IPs(Internet Protocols) of enterprises and by circuits, to apply different security policies to the customers, thus a security service is offered at low cost. Security services by a security equipment are operated(S2). A customer attempts to manage self security services(S4), and selects report details(S6). An MSP(Managed Service Platform) confirms the customer's information and a security equipment for receiving the customer by using user information stored in a DB(S8). The MSP transmits an SQL(Structured Query Language) inquiry which demands a report requested by the customer to the security equipment(S10). The security equipment searches security results of the customer as confirming security results stored in a DB comprised inside and outside the security equipment(S12), then transmits the results of the SQL inquiry to the MSP(S14). The MSP provides the results of the SQL inquiry to the customer(S16).
