A head of an upright-type vacuum cleaner is provided to improve convenience of the cleaner by easily checking the impurity-wound condition at the outer peripheral surface of the agitator when the transparent window is applied. A head of an upright-type vacuum cleaner is composed of: an upper cover forming the external appearance of the upper surface; a window holder(400) molded at the lower part of the upper cover to guide the rotation of the agitator separating the attached impurities from the floor surface; and a transparent hole and a transparent hole shielding part installed at one side of the window holder of the upper cover and selectively formed by the attachment and detachment of the split core of the mold so as to see through the inside of the head. The window holder contains a rotating guide rib(420) for guiding the rotation of the agitator, a molded plate(440) for molding the window holder with the upper cover, and the transparent hole shielding part.
