An interleaving method and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform cyclic interleaving without an additional memory by determining a reading sequence of data in a data bank to store performance result of symbol interleaving. An interleaving method includes the steps of: recording data in a writing address value of a memory which is consecutively calculated according to a calculation process of a predetermined writing address value; and reading the data recorded in a reading address value of the memory which is consecutively calculated according to the calculation process of a predetermined reading address value. The memory includes N data banks. Each data bank includes M storage spaces. The interleaving object data has the number of D. In the step of recording the data, the data bank value is a remaining value of which the data number is divided by a value to divide the number of data(D) by the number of storage spaces(M). The storage space value is a quotient value of which the data number is divided by a value to divide the number data(D) by the number of storage spaces(M). The data is recorded in the storage space value and the data bank value.
