A steam generator for a clothing process system and the clothing process system using the same are provided to conveniently install the steam generator in the clothing process system by reducing the size of the steam generator with a plate heater, to prevent leak of water or steam by easily assembling an upper case with a lower case, and to cut-down manufacturing cost by increasing productivity. A steam generator includes a lower case(10) containing water, a first sealer(30) formed in the lower case, a heater(50) arranged in the lower case to heat water, and an upper case(70) combined with the lower case to prevent leak by pressurizing the heater and the sealer. The heater is formed of a plate heater, and a pressure part(76) is extended downward in the upper case so as to press the heater. Plural legs are arranged in a circumference of the upper case to pressurize the heater. An upper assembling part(73) is formed in the circumference of the upper case for thread-connecting, and a lower assembling part(11) is formed in the lower case corresponding to the upper assembling part.
