摘要 A reinforced coupled torsion beam type suspension is provided to maintain the shape of a torsion beam as an opened type, to improve strength without using a reinforcing material for thickness, and to thereby reduce moan noise caused by resonance with a brake system. A reinforced coupled torsion beam type suspension comprises a shock absorber(S) absorbing/buffering impact from the road surface; a pair of trailing arm(T) regulating power at the front, rear, upper and lower sides; and a torsion beam(1) installed in parallel to a lateral rod for regulating the front, rear, upper, and lower power across both vehicle wheels(W) to receive torsion stress about movement of the both-side vehicle wheels and to absorb the impact. The torsion beam has a parabola body(1a) bent on both lateral portions and opened downward symmetrically at left and right sides about the middle; and reinforcing flanges(1b,1c) protruded longitudinally toward the inner space from both lateral portions of the body, relatively thicker than the body. The body has a section slowly curved.
