An automatic drum opening apparatus is provided to open a drum lid by automatically fixing the drum at a proper position when the drum is introduced into the apparatus. An automatic drum opening apparatus includes a rotary plate(21), a guide support(22), a movement guide arm(42), a blade header(60), an explosion preventing house(10), and an air discharge unit(12). The rotary plate is mounted to the upper side of a thrust bearing mounted to a central portion of a lower support. Three fixing guides including a rotary roller are mounted to the guide support. The movement guide arm includes a guide roller and a drive cylinder. The blade header is connected to a geared motor fixed to the uppermost portion of the fixing guide and includes a cam shaft converting the rotational movement of the geared motor to the upward and downward movement. The explosion preventing house includes a wall and a conical roof and includes an automatic vertical gate moved upward and downward by the operation of a cylinder. The air discharge unit is connected to the vertex of the roof by means of a duct. |
