ELECTRIC CYCLONE AND ELECTRIC CYCLONE SCRUBBER INCLUDING THE SAME

An electric cyclone and an electric cyclone scrubber having the same are provided to decrease applied voltage and to cut down the cost of a high-voltage charging device by reducing the distance between a discharge electrode and a dust collecting electrode in half by using a crown-shaped discharge electrode. The electric cyclone has a discharge electrode unit installed in the upper center of the cyclone to generate static electricity force by discharging high voltage applied from a high-voltage charging device and a cyclone body used as a dust collecting electrode. The discharge electrode unit is composed of a cylindrical insulator(181) fixed at an upper outlet of the cyclone; a connection tool(182) connected to and installed at the lower end of the insulator and provided with a wedge-shaped discharge electrode(183) formed at the lower end, wherein an upper part of the connection tool is connected to the high-voltage charging device; and a discharge electrode wire(184) embedded to electrically couple the discharge electrode and the insulator through the connection tool.
