A hair iron is provided to minimize the size to easily carry and keep when traveling by dividing holding parts and shaping parts and combining holding parts and shaping parts by a shaft pin to be foldable. The hair iron includes a pair of arms with holding parts(12a,14a) and shaping parts(12b,14b) which are divided and arranged in a column and have foot bearings at one end, a shaft pin(16) which passes through the foot bearings to make the holding parts(12a,14a) and shaping parts(12b,14b) foldable centering on the shaft pin(16), and a combining unit having a female combiner and a male combiner, for maintaining unfolded state of the holding parts(12a,14a) and shaping parts(12b,14b). When folded, the holding parts(12a,14a) are placed at the outside of the shaping parts(12b,14b), and when used, the holding parts(12a,14a) are unfolded to be combined with corresponding shaping parts(12b,14b) by the combining unit. |
