A system for preventing floating material from being bumped into a pier is provided to protect the pier by restricting impact from being transmitted directly to the pier in bumping floating heavy material into the pier, and to drain water actively by turning a cylindrical drum on the pier. A pier protection system includes a cylindrical drum formed by assembling flanges(100) at both sides of plural curve panels(10), an inner roller(20) turned and installed on a roller bracket in an inner periphery of the curve panel to turn the cylindrical drum on a pier(5), an impeller(30) combined with the flange of the curve panel to turn the cylindrical drum on the pier according to flow of water, and a drum support installed in a lower part of the pier to support the cylindrical drum on the pier. An elongated hole is formed in the roller bracket, and a bush is inserted to the elongated hole to turn and support both ends of a rotating shaft of the inner roller. The bush is contacted to the rotating shaft of the inner roller and elastically supported by a compression spring. |
