A wiper blade arm (10) comprising a central stiffening member (20), a wiper blade (14) and an aerodynamic baffle member (16) having a generally triangular cross-section (AE-FM-MA) with an upstream side (AE) defining the windward surface of the aerodynamic baffle (16), characterised in that the ratio (H:L) of the total height (H) of the wiper blade arm (10) to the overall width (L) of the wiper blade arm (10) is between 1.5 and 2.
