An inhibitor switch for an automatic transmission is provided to operate other devices according to a position of a shift lever by controlling a connecting operation of terminal electrodes formed at both sides. A lower plate(10) includes a lower terminal electrode(11) formed therein. An upper plate(20) is coupled opposite to the lower plate. An upper terminal electrode is formed inside the upper plate. A movable block(30) is formed between the lower plate and the upper plate. The movable block includes movable terminals(31,32) to be connected with the upper and lower terminal electrodes. A neutral fixing member(60) is used for fixing a lever(50) in a neutral mode. The lever is used for operating the upper and lower plates.
