A ventilation unit with a bypass member and an air cleaning member is provided to efficiently clean an air even in large area by using ultraviolet rays lamp and a metal hydride catalyst to provide an enhanced air cleaner. In a ventilation unit with a bypass member and an air cleaning member, a bypass member(10) and an air cleaning member(20) is mounted in a case(2). An external temperature sensor(31) and an internal temperature sensor(32) is installed in/outdoor to measure temperature. A carbon dioxide sensor(33) is installed indoor to measure an amount of carbon dioxide. A controller(30) controls according to a set condition. An indoor air detours around and outflows in the bypass member. The cleaning member has a mesh part, an ultraviolet lamp, and a protection film. The mesh part is installed between an outdoor intake unit(4) and an electro thermal exchange member(7). And, the protection film is made of a transparent polypropylene copolymer material formed in a cylindrical shape to encompass an ultraviolet lamp.
