REFERENCE VOLTAGE GENERATOR HAVING LOW TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCY

A reference voltage generating circuit is provided to generate a constant reference voltage irrespective of the peripheral temperature by controlling the reference voltage level independently from the peripheral temperature. A reference voltage generating circuit includes a preliminary reference voltage generator(21) and a reference voltage generator(23). The preliminary reference voltage generator generates a preliminary reference voltage, which is inverse-proportional to the temperature. The reference voltage generator generates a reference voltage by dividing the preliminary reference voltage. The reference voltage generator includes a first resistor(R22), at least one transistor(NM32,NM42), and at least one second resistor(Rc). The first resistor is connected between the preliminary reference voltage and the reference voltage. The transistor is connected between the reference voltage and an internal node. The second resistor is connected between the internal node and a ground voltage. The preliminary reference voltage or the source voltage is applied on a gate of the transistor.
