A porous floating pad for an LCD glass plate with uniform floating force is provided to horizontally float the glass plate by increasing flow-ability due to the resistance of the pore and upwardly injecting the air with uniform pressure from the whole area of the floating pad. A porous floating pad(10) for an LCD glass plate with uniform floating force is composed of plural pores(20a,20b) internally placed to float the glass plate laid on the upper surface by the air pressure upwardly rising through the pores. An upper part(10a) has the smaller porosity than a lower part(10b). The porosity of the lower part of the floating pad is 35~45%, and the porosity of the upper part of the floating pad is 31~41%. The pore size is 5~25mum.
