The camera has a scintillation material (2) capable of converting high-energy radiation (8) incident on material and having a wavelength of X-ray radiation or shorter into an optical radiation. A position-sensitive detector (6) is capable of detecting the optical radiation and a bundle of light guides (14) are located in front of the detector, where the light guides are located between the detector and the material. The material on a side facing away from the detector is provided with an antireflective layer (24) which is substantially transparent to the high-energy radiation.
