The selection output section takes out an output signal with a larger value among output signals (S40, S50) from the satellite sensors (4, 5) and an output signal (S80) from the Y-direction sensor (8). The determining section (9) responds to the output signal (S7) from the X-direction sensor (7) and determines collision of the vehicle (1). A threshold value level for the collision determination in the determination section (9) is set by the output signal selected by the selection output section.
