A mobile communication terminal having a function for controlling operations and a method thereof are provided to enable the first controller to control operations of a sensor and output operational error data on the sensor and enable the second controller to control operations of the first controller and output operational error data on the first controller, thereby sensing that operational errors are generated by static electricity in the mobile communication terminal and controlling the operations. A mobile communication terminal having a function for controlling operations comprises the followings: the first controller(120) which controls operation of a sensor(110) and outputs operational error data on the sensor according as an operational error of the sensor(110) is detected; the second controller(130) which controls operation of the first controller(120) and outputs operational error data on the first controller(120) according as an operational error of the first controller(120) is detected; and a storage(140) for storing the operational error data outputted from at least one of the first controller(120) and the second controller(130).
