FIELD: rolled stock production. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of measuring initial temperature values in points of metal strip no later than at inlet of hot rolled strip to finishing line; tracking said points of metal strip while they pass through finishing line; subjecting hot rolled strip in finishing line to temperature actions. Data of strip points, initial temperature values, temperature actions are supplied to model of finishing line stands. With use of such model of finishing line stands real temperature values of strip points expected in real time are determined.
