An optical distributing system using PLC(Power Line Communication) is provided to install plural PLC service units having each power line at service places within a building and connect an optical distributing repeater to the PLC service units through power lines of an inner wall of the building, thereby removing shadow regions as dead space of communication, reducing construction expenses, and facilitating construction. An optical distributing system using PLC comprises the followings: an optical distributing repeater(10) which is installed in a communications room within a building; a power line(30) which is installed at an inner wall of the building; and plural PLC service units(40a,40b,40c) which are installed at service places within the building. The optical distributing repeater(10) and the plural PLC service units(40a,40b,40c) are connected to each other by plural power lines(30) to enable optical communication.
