A slim type keypad panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to implement a backlight of various colors by forming a multi-coating layer to represent various colors on a bottom plane. A slim type keypad panel(30) includes a plurality of dome shape buttons(31), and a multi-coating layer. The slim type keypad panel(30) is made of a transparent acrylic or a transparent polycarbonate. The plurality of dome-shaped buttons(31) are formed on an upper plane of the slim type keypad panel(30). A pattern having a number, a character, and a symbol corresponding to each dome-shaped button is printed on a bottom plane. The multi-coating layer to represent various colors is formed on the bottom plane having the printed pattern. A coating layer made of one of aluminum, nickel, and chrome is formed on an upper plane of the plurality of dome shape buttons(31).
