ELECTRIC GENERATION AIR CONDITION SYSTEM AND THE CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

A cogeneration system and a method for controlling the same are provided to improve the operation efficiency of the system by outputting one of the power generated by the cogeneration system and general power to an air conditioner. A cogeneration system includes a generator(50), a drive source(52), a wasted heat recovering unit(60), a power switching unit(51), a power consuming device, and a control unit. The drive source drives the generator. The wasted heat recovering unit recovers the wasted heat of the drive source. The power switching unit switches one of the power generated by the generator and the general power to be output. The power consuming device receives the power output through the power switching unit. When the power consuming device is operated, if the load of the power consuming device exceeds a power switching border according to the load of the power consuming device, the control unit controls the power switching unit so that the power can be switched.
