THE MORTAR COMPOSITION WITH BOTTOM-ASH FOR REFRACTORY LINING

A mortar composition for refractory lining with heat insulation, fire-proofing property and mechanical strength is provided to be employed in fabricating the refractory lining sufficient to prevent concrete explosion and collision of constructional structure during firing by reusing bottom-ash residual from fossil fuel used in a power plant as primary component of the mortar composition. The composition generally includes bottom ash as refractory aggregate. More particularly, the composition is formed by adding water to solid fraction comprising: 5-50wt.% of cement; 10-90wt.% of the bottom ash; 1-20wt.% of heat insulating aggregate; and 0.01-5wt.% of organic fiber. The cement is selected from typical Portland cement, white Portland cement, alumina cement, early strength Portland cement and high early strength cement. The solid fraction further includes 0.01 to 2wt.% of thickener agent which is selected from methyl cellulose or polyvinyl acetate, and/or 0.5 to 7wt% of accelerating agent.
