A structure for installing a low level conduit of an intake tower in a water supply system is provided to prevent pollution of water by shutting off sludge into an intake port and discharging soil sludge. A low level conduit installation structure(100) includes an intake tower(110) installed by a base pile(111) and base concrete(113), a sludge shutoff structure(120) formed like a cylinder whose upper plane is opened, provided with an earth retaining wall(121) and a sludge shutoff wall(123) and mounted outside a lower part of the intake tower to place the intake tower in the sludge shutoff wall, a dredge pipe(130) penetrating the earth retaining wall, a dredge pump(140) installed at an end of the dredge pipe to discharge soil sludge from the earth retaining wall through the dredge pipe, and a conduit(150) connected to the intake tower through the earth retaining wall and the sludge shutoff wall to discharge water from the intake tower. The sludge shutoff wall is placed to be higher than the earth retaining wall to shut off soil sludge into the intake tower. |
