A method for forming patterns on the structure is provided to easily form beautiful patterns on the surface of the structure such as a guard rail and a steel pole of a street lamp by using paints and a plate material with patterns. The method for forming patterns on the structure comprises the steps of: painting the surface of the structure with the ground color and forming the pattern by spraying the second paint with bringing a plate material(20) having the predetermined perforated patterns into contact with the structure painted with the ground color and then removing the plate material. The pattern of the plate material is formed by laser machining. The plate material is a thin metal sheet. |
