A multiplex control monitor is provided to selectively monitor and control multiple external devices with one monitor, and display video information inputted from each external device to one monitor by dividing a screen of the monitor. A video input part(110) receives the video information from the external devices. A touch screen(120) displays the video information inputted from the video input part and controls the selected external device. A controller(130) controls display of the video information according to a user selection and outputs a control command for controlling the selected external device. Multiple interfaces(150a,150b) receive and output the control command output from the controller to the selected external device. The controller provides a user with a selection menu for selecting one among the video information and a control menu for controlling the selected device through the touch screen.
