<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump for liquefied gas, capable of discharging bubbles generated on the intake chamber side more than a gear train out of a housing so as to eliminate malfunction due to generation of bubbles. <P>SOLUTION: In this gear pump, DME taken through an intake port 43 communicated with the intake chamber 41 in the housing into the intake chamber 41 is discharged to a discharge chamber 40 provided on the opposite side of the intake chamber 41 over the gear train 33 through the gear train 33 for raising pressure. In the housing, a communication hole 50 for communicating the intake chamber 41 with the outer side of the housing is formed separately from the intake port 43. The communication hole 50 comprises a first opening opened on the outer side of the housing and a second opening 50b opened in the intake chamber 41.
