PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup element driving device with a circuit configuration simpler than in the conventional manner and whose circuit scale is small. SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup element driving device comprises a random accessible SRAM 45 that stores waveform information about a driving signal to a solid-state image pickup element and a comparator 48 for reading the waveform information from the SRAM 45 and creating a driving signal on the basis of the read waveform information.
