PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store an index without superposing noise over speech being recorded. SOLUTION: A data storage device includes; a microphone means for inputting speech and outputting it as a voice signal; a storage means for storing the voice signal outputted from the microphone means, as speech data; a speech output control means for outputting speech data stored in the storage means, as a voice signal; a non-contact input means for inputting without contact; and a position information storage control means for storing position information indicating a position on a time base of the speech data on the basis of input from the non-contact input means, in the storage means.
