PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for manufacturing a film case, which allow a light shielding member to be efficiently attached to a case body with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The case body 14 is positioned with a positioning member and the light shielding member 54 is positioned with a light shielding member positioning mechanism. The positioned light shielding member 54 is moved to a position above a notch 38 while sucking the light shielding sheet chip 60 side of the light shielding member 54 by a suction block 182. The displacement member 58 side of the light shielding member 54 moved to the position above the notch 38 is supported by a clamper 214 passing through the notch 38 and the light shielding sheet chip 60 side of the light shielding member 54 is pressed by a pressing member 220. In this state, the light shielding member 54 is moved to the notch 38 under the guide action of the clamper 214, whereby the notch 38 can be accurately covered with the light shielding member 54.
