PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device for a side trimmer, preventing cracked edge and improving the quality of a cut surface in side trimming a material to be heated such as a silicon steel plate in a process line having the side trimmer. SOLUTION: In this induction heating device for a side trimmer, C-shaped inductors 1a, 1b and pinch rolls 2a, 2b holding the material M to be heated and conveying the same are respectively provided on the inlet side and the outlet side of the C-shaped inductors 1a, 1b. A steering roll 30 for adjusting the relative position in the width direction of the material M to be heated by moving the plate is provided on the upstream side of the pinch roll 2a. Further, side trimmers 40a, 40b for trimming both side parts of the material M to be heated, which is heated by the C-shaped inductors 1a, 1b, are provided on the downstream side of the pinch roll 2b.
