PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus which can improve efficiency of a circuit of a controlling section and credibility of motion of the circuit. SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus with a plurality of operation modes which is exclusively performed, has a FPGA 1 which comprises a CPU 10 and peripheral circuits and controls execution of the operation modes, and a switch request-detecting section which detects request of switch among the operation modes to be performed.
