PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture the female and male members of a fastener with tapes made of heat-resistant material. SOLUTION: The fastener consists of: a male-side tape obtained by molding and fixing a plurality of synthetic resin male members 6 to a fabric tape 18 at prescribed intervals; and a female-side tape obtained by molding and fixing a plurality of synthetic resin female members 4 to a fabric tape 30 at the same intervals as the male member. The synthetic resin forming the female and male members 4 and 6 is nylon 66. It is desirable to mold and fix the male member 6 and the female member 4 without making fitting holes at the fabric tapes 18 and 30 and to raise the engaging protrusion 20 of the male member 6 directly from the fabric tape 18.
