PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing loosening and slipping-down. SOLUTION: This absorbent article is provided with: a sheet-shaped leakage preventing body having a bottom face part and a pair of side parts erecting from the both right/left sides of the bottom face part to the upper side and forming an internal space of the bottom face part and the pair of side parts; an absorbent body disposed in an internal space; a pair of side edge elastic belts provided along the edges of the pair of side parts respectively; a lumbar band connected to the rear end of the leakage prevention body and extending in the right/left direction; and a pair of hip wrap elastic belts connected to the pair of side parts of the leakage prevention body and/or the pair of side edge elastic belts and the lumbar band. The connecting parts between the pair of hip wrap elastic belts and the pair of side parts of the leakage prevention body and/or the pair of side edge elastic belts are positioned rearward of the crotch part, and the interval in the connecting parts between the pair of hip wrap elastic belts and the lumbar band is wider than the interval in the connecting parts between the pair of hip wrap elastic belts and the pair of side parts of the leakage prevention body and/or the pair of side edge elastic belts.
