The kite has a sail (1) with rods at the top and bottom edges each connected to the sail by a guide pocket (17) whereby the rods stand convex relative to one another. The left and right ends of the rods are connected to one another through further rods which form side guide edges and are connected to the sail through a guide pocket (16) and to the top and bottom rods through connectors. The top and bottom rods are connected to one another left and right of the vertical dissecting line (28) through the tension rods which are longer than the side rods so that the tension rods divide the guide edges into three equal or different length sections. Further standoff rods stem from the top and bottom guide edges and open at keel rods which protrude out from the plane of the tension rods. The keel rods which are longer than the tension rods are pressed against the sail to produce a three dimensional shape. The control or steering lines of the kite protrude directly from the connecting point of lines (20,21) which are connected together in pairs at their loose ends.
|
