A handy food processor (1) having a body (2) and a work tool (4) detachably attached to the body and processing food by a rotating blade (7) at the tip of the work tool with the body held by hand. A motor (17) for rotating the rotating blade is placed at the lower part inside the body, a main switch (16) for turning on and off the rotation of the motor is placed on the motor, and a battery pack of a power source (20) for driving the motor is placed at the upper part in the body. Operability in work is improved to make the processor more convenient.
