Assuming the width at an Oldham's ring (57) key portion of iron based material is t, and the width of a turning-side key way (19) in the back of the end plate (12a) of a turning scroll (12) of aluminum based material and the width of a fixed-side key way (32) in the thrust face side of a main bearing member (51) of aluminum based material is s, a gap d occurring by s-t is set to satisfy a relation (6×10<SUP>-5</SUP>)=d/L=(3.5×10<SUP>-4</SUP>) for the key pitch L of the Oldham's ring (57). Since collision force against the key way is weakened even if the key of the Oldham's ring (57) vibrates in the key way, impact sound of the Oldham's ring is reduced and thereby operational noise of the scroll compressor is reduced.</p>
