<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and a program, which surely select accompanying items accompanying hierarchically disposed setting items. <P>SOLUTION: Hierarchically disposed setting items are presented to a user, and setting operation from the user to the presented setting items is received. When there are accompanying items accompanying a setting item which is set (step S2; Yes), the accompanying items are sequentially presented to the user (step S3), a setting operation from the user to the presented accompanying items is received, and an accompanying item on which the setting operation is performed, is set (steps S5, S6).
