<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner transporting apparatus shaking off toner attached to a toner transporting coil itself or to periphery wall by a flicking oscillation by being provided with a projection to oscillate the transporting coil and while maintaining transporting property when the toner transporting coil is in a normal rotation, having the toner transporting coil get stuck on an interfering member positioned on the outer shape of the transporting coil and having the toner transporting coil itself oscillated at every reverse rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The toner transporting apparatus A in an image forming apparatus of an electrophotographic system transports toner recovered by a toner recovery part 4 to the outside and includes a structure for supporting the toner transporting coil 1 with a spiral coil provided on a rotating shaft in a manner of cantilever so that it can rotate in normal/reverse directions within a toner transporting pipe 2. An interfering mechanism or the interfering member 6 which does not interfere with an action of the toner transporting coil 1 in the normal rotation of the toner transporting coil 1 and becomes an obstacle causing oscillation by making use of elastic force of the toner transporting coil 1 itself in a reverse rotation.
