<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous reproduction of which a series of streaming data is reproduced uninterruptedly, even when communication state between a distribution device and a mobile phone set is degraded. <P>SOLUTION: A low bit-rate content data (pre-data), corresponding to a series of streaming data, are stored in a mobile phone, in advance. Then, at reproduction, a transmission request for a high bit-rate content data block, having the same data content as that of a low bit-rate content data block, is made to a transfer source indicated by transfer source information attached to the pre-data. When the high bit-rate content data block can be received from a distribution source, this high bit-rate content data block is reproduced; and when the high bit-rate content data block cannot be received from the distribution source, instead, the low bit-rate content data block, having the same data content, is detected from the pre-data and reproduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
